Deadline for paper submissions: February 26, 2010:

Background and Rational
=======================
Over the last two decades, research in data and information quality
(DIQ) has advanced significantly. Many frameworks, measurement
approaches and theoretical concepts have been developed and proposed. At
the same time, industry and researchers have provided us with many case
studies and best practice. DIQ has been included as topic in many
conferences; however, in order to reflect the foremost achievements in
DIQ research, the research community needs to revisit and discuss not
only the relevance but also the rigor in DIQ research.

With this track, we aim to provide a platform for reflecting and
validating current contributions in the domain and to discuss research
approaches, research methods and research results of DIQ research. We
particularly encourage submissions that focus on (re)validating current
and prominent frameworks, approaches or concepts. With the focus of this
Minitrack, the topic should aim to discuss research aspects of DIQ.
Papers can include and discuss various research methods and research
based on case studies, quantitative methods such as experimental and
simulation but also empirical research to examine the existing models,
methods, approaches and frameworks.

Topics of interest
==================

Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following list:
* Validations of DIQ research
* Revalidation of previous DIQ research and frameworks
* Scope of DIQ research
* DIQ research models
* DIQ research methodologies and approaches
* Result types of DIQ research
* Stakeholders of DIQ research
* Evaluation guidelines and criteria for DIQ research
* Approaches and success factors of Collaborative Research (Industry &
Academia)
* Creativity and innovation in DIQ research
* Supervising and managing DIQ research
* Comparison with and relation to other research domains
* Evaluation and improvement of DIQ research (methods and results)
