[AISWorld] Special Issue in IJESMA: "E-and m-business status in the Mediterranean region"

        Special Issue On “E-and m-business status in the Mediterranean
        region"*

Within the last years, the Mediterranean region has been attributed 
priority for the expansion of the European Research Area (ERA), as it is 
demonstrated by the European initiatives and the number of funded 
e-Infrastructure projects for the region. This special issue aims to:
1. encourage and inspire e-business and m-business research that is 
relevant to the social, economic and cultural particularities of the 
Mediterranean region;
2. raise the visibility of the e-business and m-business research 
practices, education and policy carried out in the Mediterranean region;
3. examine emerging research questions and issues raised by junior and 
more experienced members of the Mediterranean e-business and m-business 
community.

Potential contributions may include:
- Papers exploring technological and managerial aspects of e-business 
and m-business applications and services in the Mediterranean region;
- Theoretical or conceptual papers on research models, frameworks and 
methodologies for the study of e-business and m-business;
- Social, ethical and cultural issues concerning the use of e-business 
and m-business applications in the Mediterranean countries;
- Case studies of successful or unsuccessful use of e-business and 
m-business applications in the Mediterranean region.

We welcome research submissions on all topics related to e-business and 
m-business, including but are not limited to those listed below.

- Social Networking services in Web 2.0

- Ethical issues in e-/m-business
- Case studies in industrial and public organizations
