The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) seeks
to fill a tenure-track position in information systems to begin August 2011,
at the rank of Assistant Professor.  The ISOM Department is one of four
departments at the AACSB accredited Bryan School of Business and Economics
at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).



The Department has programs at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral
levels, and actively participates in the Bryan School’s MBA Program. The
Department currently has 13 tenured/tenure-track faculty members and 2
lecturers. Faculty members have varied and active research agendas including
global information technology management, healthcare IT, electronic
commerce, decision support systems, information privacy and security, supply
chain management, and semantic web applications. More information is

Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. degree and have an active program of
research in information systems. ABD candidates will be considered only if
they will complete the degree before August 2011.  These are particularly
important qualifications in view of the Department’s enhanced research
profile, the Ph.D. program, and the role of the McDowell Research Center for
Global Information Technology Management (http://mrc.uncg.edu.)

of reference, a sample of recent scholarship, and evidence of teaching
