[AISWorld] Final Reminder: eLearning Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Wits University

Applications are invited for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the
eLearning Support and Innovation (eLSI) Unit at the University of the
Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. The Unit comprises four sections,
Instructional Design, Content Development, Software Development, and
Research, and operates within the framework of TIPS
(Technology-Innovation-Pedagogy-Support).

 

Duration of Fellowship: 1 September 2010 to 31 August 2011.

 

Skills/key qualities: This Fellowship will support research work which
focuses on the TIPS model. The successful candidate will be expected to
undertake research, work in partnerships with others within Wits,
collect data outside of the University and use it to benchmark the
implementation of eLearning at Wits nationally and internationally,
always working to the highest academic standards. 

 

Experience: A doctoral level qualification in the field of education or
information systems. Expertise in analysis and reporting both
qualitatively and quantitatively. The successful candidate will be
self-motivated and have published at least one research paper in a peer
reviewed journal.

 

Remuneration: A reasonable tax-free fellowship and research support
funding and allowance are available.
