This is the first call for papers for the 4th International Conference on
ICT for Africa 2011 (ICT4Africa 2011). The conference is themed "ICT FOR
DEVELOPMENT IN AFRICA – Sustaining the Momentum and Extending the
Reach".The conference will take place at Covenant University, Canaan
Land, Nigeria,
March 23-24 2011. The conference website: www.ictforafrica.org.



This conference will bring together a fine mix of practitioners and
academicians in the area of ICTs for sustainable development. The conference
will explore the possibilities of continuity in terms of contributions from
Africa to the ICT for Development discourse as well as initiate pragmatic
measures needed to extend the ICT reach. The objective is to highlight the
synergy of collaboration between African countries and other developing
countries, and between African countries and the developed countries towards
development solutions. Submissions should cover key themes outline below:

3.      ICT for Education and Journalism

4.      ICT and Healthcare

5.      ICT, Poverty Alleviation and Community Development

6.      Open-source Technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa

*How to Submit Papers*

Please submit your paper electronically through our online submission system
(http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ict4africa2011) on or before
September 30th 2010.

ICT4Africa 2011 submissions, publication and editorial committee will
maintain very strict rules on submissions formats and deadlines.  Paper
which fail to use the submissions template will be rejected without review.
Authors should read submissions guidelines before submitting their papers (
www.ictforafrica.org).
