The Boston College Information Systems Department is seeking applicants for a full-time non-tenure track teaching position, beginning September 2011.  The position calls for a 3-3 teaching load.  The initial contract is for one year, and after that is potentially renewable in two year increments.

A well-qualified applicant will thoroughly enjoy teaching and possess extensive evidence of teaching excellence at an accredited business school.  A Ph.D. in Information Systems and significant industry experience are both preferred, but not required. Candidates should be willing and able to teach both managerial IS classes (e.g., Introduction to IS, Ecommerce) and technical classes (e.g., Programming for Managers, Systems Analysis and Design) to both undergraduates and MBAs.  We are also looking for candidates who will be enthusiastic about working with students outside the classroom setting (e.g., advising students and clubs.)

Please submit application in electronic form to: Professor Rob Fichman at ISDept at bc.edu.
