Miami University (OH)'s Farmer School of Business seeks applicants for two visiting MIS positions for Spring 2011.

Decision Sciences & Management Information Systems:  (two positions) Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach a full-time load of Management Information Systems (MIS) courses.

Require:   PhD (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor), Master's degree (for appointment as Instructor) in MIS or related field; willingness and ability to teach introductory sophomore course in MIS to pre-business students.

Desire:  Willingness and ability to teach Database Systems and Data Warehousing course or other upper-level MIS courses; demonstrated teaching effectiveness; graduate degree from a business school; industry experience.

Screening of applications begins September 1, 2010 and will continue until the position is filled.  Positions are for Spring 2011 semester and are not benefit eligible.  Classes begin January 10, 2011; positions may be renewed for all of part of the 2011-2012 academic year, depending on funding and performance.
