The Department of Information Technology & Decision Sciences at the University of North Texas invites applications for a tenure track position in Information Systems at the levels of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor for the Fall 2011 semester. Rank is open, but preference will be given to candidates with experience at higher ranks or who have been in university tenure track positions at least two years.

The candidate must have a doctorate in Information Systems or related discipline; teaching experience in both introductory and more advanced technical information systems courses and a research record commensurate with position level. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience in security, one or more programming languages, or telecommunications/networks. Candidates are expected to teach a course load of at least 2-2. Actual course loads are assigned based on departmental needs. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
