[AISWorld] Reminder -- Papers Due for MIS Quarterly Pre-ICIS Authors Workshop

PAPERS FOR THIS WORKSHOP ARE DUE ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31

MIS Quarterly will be holding a pre-ICIS workshop especially designed to
assist authors who are planning to submit their work at some future time
to MISQ. Work-in-progress papers of at least 5 pages will be accepted
for oral presentation to a small group of MISQ editors and other
prospective authors in a round-table format. (Copies of your papers also
need to be available for the table participants; 7 copies should be
sufficient.) The table discussion following each presentation will focus
on how to augment and revise the paper for smoother sailing through the
review process.

A group of MISQ Senior Editors and Associate Editors have volunteered to
participate and there should be enough capacity to serve a fairly large
group of authors.

Date: Sunday, December 12

Venue: Hyatt-Regency St. Louis at the Arch (the location will be posted
on the MISQ web page athttp://www.misq.org/  as soon as the information
is available)

Schedule:
9:00 - 9:30 a.m. – Registration
9:30 - 10:00 a.m. – Introduction to the Workshop
10:00 - 11:30 a.m. – Round-table discussion groups of authors and
editors (roughly 3 papers per table)

If you are interested in attending, please submit your 5 page (minimum)
working paper to Jan DeGross, MISQ Managing Editor, atdegro003 at umn.edu.
Deadline for submission is October 31, 2010. Papers should be submitted
in Word or Adobe PDF format.
