The AFME first International Conference on Social Networks is an event
geared towards academic and professionals, in technical, managerial area of
digital enterprises  interested to gain knowledge as to how this industry is
working and evolving under the pressure of these new media.  
We welcome technical papers presenting research and practical results,
position papers addressing the pros and cons of specific proposals, such as
those being discussed in the standard forum,  survey papers addressing the
key problems and solutions on any of the above topics short papers on work
in progress, and panel proposals.
This conference brings the intelligence, innovation, and leadership of the
social networks industry together in one place at one time. In the Social
Networking industry, several sectors show large potential for revenue: 
*	Enterprise Social Networking,  intra-corporate or Business Social
Networking, embedding social networking for enterprise applications allowing
for idea sharing and increased business performance thru new collaboration
tool.
*	Mobile networking : will mobile usage of the internet eclipse other
computers usage?   Mobile based carriers in North American now open way to
third party solutions, which should be valuable to European based business
*	 Social networks, Web 2.0 for Education
*	E-government and social networks
*	Social Networks and web design 
*	Marketing of and in the social networks
But these new developments raise new concerns
*	What will be the evolution of SN in terms of sociology, new
technologies and trends, new advances ?
*	How to approach the needed security?
*	How to protect privacy?  
*	What are the appropriate and inappropriate use of SN in
organizations?
Other issues will be also considered. 
The topics suggested by the workshop can be discussed in term of concepts,
state of the art, standards, implementations, running experiments and
applications. Authors are invited to submit complete unpublished papers,
which are not under review in any other conference or journal.

3.	Tutorials (max 1 hour,  teaser 500 words) 
	For the roundtable  (max 1 hour, teaser 500 words)  will be
published in the proceedings
The best papers will be published in the

IMPORTANT NOTICES:  
a) Presentation can be made in french or in english  but slides must be in
english
b) Communication papers can be written in French or in English for the
proceedings and the journals
