Dear colleagues

Temple University's Fox School of Business, Department of Management
Information Systems is proud to announce the first plug-in of the FoxMIS
Community Project. The plug-in called "Community Gradebook" provides an easy
to use secure gradebook tool for the WordPress content management platform.
The plug-in is available under an open source license agreement from the
WordPress site at:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/community-gradebook/

The goals of the FoxMIS Community project include the application of open
source content management and social media to integrate and replace:
.	institutional content such as websites and portals,
.	individual content management such as home pages, blogs,
e-portfolio's, and
.	course management systems such as Blackboard.

The FoxMIS community site is a living platform in which we are applying and
experimenting with realizing the above vision:

We are looking for partners to co-develop ideas, code, and to pilot test new
initiatives. Following the open source model we will share all the tools,
themes, and templates that are being developed. For more information about
our long term vision please review:

Best wishes,

Munir Mandviwalla
