2nd JAMS/JAIMS International Conference on Business & Information 2011
Theme: "IT and Business in Information Society"
September 2nd-3rd 2011, JAIMS, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA

The JAMS (Japan Association for Management Systems), in cooperation with 
JAIMS (Japan-America Institute of Management Science), is sponsoring the 
International Conference on Business & Information 2011. The conference 
will be held at JAIMS, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA, where locates within the 
breathtaking, natural beauty island.
The importance of IT on business is increasing in the information 
society. The exchange and communication of information for IT 
application to business is requested. This Conference provides this 
opportunity, and encourages the exchange of knowledge, information and 
perspectives through presentations and discussions. We invite colleagues 
throughout the world to present new findings and insights, discuss 
current issues, and strengthen personal network.

Conference papers will include but not limited to the following topics:
Business application of Management Sciences
Business Information Systems
Cross-border network-based management systems
Education with IT
Emerging IT trends
Information Strategy
International Management
Management Systems
Social Networking

Deadline to submit full-text of paper: 31st March 2011
Notifications of acceptance: 30th April 2011
Deadline to submit camera-ready copy of paper: 31st May 2011

Submission of Papers
Interested presenters must complete and submit abstracts (English, 
300-400 words) by January 31st 2011. By March 31st, the full text of the 
paper written per the requirements described on the IJAMS website 
(http://wwwsoc.nii.ac.jp/jams2/information/ijams/IJAMS_Guidline.pdf) is 
to be submitted. Page charge won’t be asked within 6 pages. All the 
papers will be “blind” peer reviewed and authors of accepted papers will 
be informed by April 30th. By May 31st, the final version of the paper, 
camera-ready, is to be submitted. Accepted presenter must complete early 
registration by 31st July 2011. Otherwise the presentation will be 
canceled.

Presented paper may be submitted to the International Journal of the 
Japan Association for Management Systems (IJAMS) that is published by 
Japan Association for Management Systems.

Conference Fees:
The registration fee will be \30,000 Japanese Yen for early 
registration. On-site registration fee will be US$400.
