Dear All

A reminder that nominations for the ECIS 2011 Doctoral Consortium close on 31st January. Details of the nomination procedure can be found on the conference web site at http://project.hkkk.fi/ecis2011/doctoral_consortium.htm. We look forward to receiving your nominations for this prestigious doctoral consortium, which will take place in the beautiful surroundings of Majvik conference centre 25kms from Helsinki.

Eligibility
The objective of the ECIS Doctoral Consortium is to create a collegial and fun atmosphere where Ph.D. students currently working on Information Systems dissertations can share their work and receive valuable feedback. Thus, the optimal candidates for nomination are those who have successfully defended their thesis proposals before June 2011. Students who will have completed their dissertations by June 2011 or are close to completing will not be accepted. Eligible candidates must be currently enrolled in a University within AIS Area 2 (Europe, Africa and the Middle East). Each University can only nominate one candidate and must guarantee funding for the student to attend the Doctoral Consortium, if selected. Room and board at the DC is provided courtesy of ECIS and the conference sponsors. The university must also guarantee funding for the student to attend ECIS2011 itself which will be held immediately after the consortium.
