The Gatton College of Business & Economics at the University of Kentucky seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Decision Sciences and Information Systems beginning in August 2011. The primary teaching responsibility is in the area of Supply Chain Management in the College’s innovative One-Year MBA program (http://gatton.uky.edu/MBA).

Applicants must have a PhD (or expected completion prior to December 31, 2011) from an accredited institution and research specialization in Supply Chain Management or related areas (including Operations Management, Information Systems, or Quantitative Methods). A strong research and teaching record is required to be considered at a senior Assistant/Associate level.


Opportunities for multi‐disciplinary research exist with a number of college‐affiliated centers and institutes. The Lexington metropolitan area, at the center of Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, boasts an affordable cost of living and is consistently rated by Forbes magazine among the best places for business and careers.
