This is a Final call for papers for the 7th European Conference on
Management Leadership and Governance (ECMLG) being held at the SKEMA
Business School, Sophia-Antipolis, France on the 6-7 October 2011.

This call is open until the 17th of March 2011.

The Conference offers an opportunity for scholars and practitioners
interested in the issues related to Management, Leadership, and
Governance to share their thinking and research findings. These fields
of study are broadly described as including issues related to the
management of the organisations' resources, the interface between senior
management and the formal governance of the organisation. This
Conference provides a forum for discussion, collaboration and
intellectual exchange for all those interested in any of these fields of
research or practice.

The conference committee welcomes contributions on a wide range of
topics using a range of scholarly approaches including theoretical and
empirical papers employing qualitative, quantitative and critical
methods. Action research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are
welcomed approaches. PhD Research, proposals for roundtable discussions,
non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main
themes are also invited.

For the first time there will be a prize for the best PhD paper and the
best Poster presented at the conference.

To remind you, duties of a committee member are, in the first instance,
to circulate the call for papers to your network and to generally spread
awareness of the conference. You will find a full call for papers at:

Once we begin to receive full papers you will be asked to participate in
the blind review process by reviewing one or two papers. My colleague,
Carol Sheasby, will be in touch with you a couple of weeks before this
time to remind you that papers will be coming to you soon.

In return for your active participation in this event we are pleased to
offer you one of two special offers. You can attend the conference with
a 20% discount off the academic registration fee. To avail of this you
will need to register for the conference online and after selecting the
Academic option you will be able to enter the code CMD100 into a
discount box, which will recalculate your fee with the discount.
Alternatively, you can pay full fee for yourself and bring a
non-presenting student with you to the conference at no additional
registration cost. If you choose the latter option you should register
yourself and email me the details for the student who will accompany
you. Registration details can be found at:

Please feel free to circulate this message to any colleagues or contacts
you think may be interested.
