Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor of Management Information
Systems
The School of Business Administration at Oakland University seeks to fill a
Visiting Assistant Professor of MIS position to teach undergraduate and
graduate level courses in MIS for the 2011-2012 academic year. The teaching
load is 5 classes per academic year. Class sizes are moderate.
Required Qualifications
* ABD or PhD in Information Systems or equivalent
* Evidence of scholarly achievement and teaching experience commensurate
with the level of appointment
Desired Qualifications
* Interest or ability to teach in Data Communications, Computer Network
Management, and Information Security desired; all research and teaching
areas will be considered
* Evidence of scholarly activity
* Ability to effectively collaborate with other faculty members
* Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
* Relevant professional and/or industry experience
* Possession of IT certifications
