At the Faculty III for Economics, Business Informatics, and Economic Law 
the following position has an opening:

Full Professorship in Information Systems / Business Informatics

The field of Business Informatics at the University of Siegen is mainly 
characterized by high research intensity, a high volume of grant 
funding, and international impact. At the last ranking of the 
Bertelsmann Foundation (CHE) the Institute of Business Informatics of 
the University of Siegen took a leading position in Germany. Currently, 
there are seven faculty positions at the Institute for Business 
Informatics in the corresponding main research areas Production 
Management, Logistics, Digital Media and IT Security.

To develop the research agenda of the institute, the position holder 
should establish a research group with international visibility. This 
focus should be in one of the main subjects of business informatics and 
supplement the given research profile of the institute. International 
reputations resulting i.e. from international research activities are as 
much desired as excellent publication peformance, and experience in the 
acquisition and direction of third-party funded research projects.
The academic performance will be evaluated by the number and quality of 
academic publications in international journals and conferences and also 
by the number and quality on innovative research projects acquired in a 
competitive manner.

The future position holder should contribute to the Bachelor and Master 
progams in the field of Business Informatics and other programs offered 
by Faculty III.

Formal requirements for employments are a university degree, and a 
phd-degree in a related area. German candidates may need a habilitation 
or proof equivalent merits. We expect you to conduct your duties in 
German or in English language.
