is pleased to announce the following vacancy:

Junior Professorship (W1) in Information Systems, especially Systems
Development

The junior professorship belongs to the Department of Information
Systems. According to the AIS publication ranking, the department is
among the best German IS research units. It offers a dynamic environment
integrating theories and methods from information systems research,
organizational studies, web science and new media.
The junior professorship is expected to focus on the organization and
management of IS development and implementation projects, emphasizing
inter-organizational aspects. 
We are looking for candidates with an outstanding research potential,
who strengthen our visibility in academia and industry. 
Candidates should hold a PhD in a relevant field and have published in
academic journals. They have shown independent research in IS
development, possibly focusing on web systems development and web
science taking a management, economic or technical perspective. They
should have first teaching experience in IS or related fields and should
be interested in cooperating with the IS Department. 
Junior Professors are employed for three years. An extension for another
three years is possible and desired - based on performance evaluations.
