Grenoble EM and its Faculty for the Management of Information Systems (EMSI) are delighted to announce that it will be holding the 6th edition of the International Conference on Information Systems, Technology and Management in 2012. This event will be held in partnership with MDI Gurgaon and the University of Florida.

About The Conference
The conference aims to bring together developers, users, academicians and researchers in the information technology and business community for sharing and exploring new areas of research and development in the knowledge economy. Organizations today need to convert data into knowledge and blend it with sensing and innovation in order to generate intelligence and hence business value. With accelerating developments in information and communication technologies, there is a rapid change in planning, development, deployment and use models of information. Greater skills are required by providers and end users to harness the true potential of such technologies. The conference will bring together some of the best researchers from across the world in information systems and technology management.
Encouraged by the success of past five conferences, three times in India; once in Dubai; and once in Bangkok; the sixth ICISTM will be held in Europe for the first time. Grenoble EM has a highly dedicated team that will do everything to make the conference as enjoyable and as rewarding as possible for the participants.

Workshop / Tutorial
Proposals for workshops running concurrently with the main conference on specialized topics within the broad areas of information systems, information technology and information management are invited. Proposals are also invited for special sessions comprising five to seven papers on a specific topic within the broad areas of information systems, information technology and information management. Proposals for half-day tutorials on topics of interest also invited.

Important Dates:

*         Paper Submission Deadline : Oct. 14, 2011
*         Workshop/Tutorial Proposals Deadline : Oct. 1, 2011
*         Notification of Acceptance : Nov. 28, 2011
*         Camera-ready Copy Due : Dec. 5, 2011

Submission Guidelines :
Original, unpublished manuscripts of up to 10-pages including figures and references must follow the Springer LNCS/CCIS single-column format (please see below). Papers must be submitted in PDF format with 12-point font size, single-spaced, 1-inch margin on all sides.
Papers should be submitted online through the ICISTM-2012 EasyChair Conference Management System (see web site).
Conference Proceedings
The peer-reviewed conference papers will be published by the Springer Series in Communication in Computer and Information Science (CCIS).
Grenoble and its community
Aside from conference itself, we hope that you have time to discover what an exciting place Grenoble is. Of course, the city is known for the Alps Mountains that surround it and all the opportunity it offers for winter sports. It hosted the 1968 Winter Olympics.
But Grenoble is also a very dynamic city for high tech businesses. Some 500 foreign owned are based in the city. There are companies such as Oracle, Yahoo, Caterpillar, Hewlett Packard, Xerox and many more. These companies work closely with Grenoble EM and many of them will take an active part in the 6th edition of the conference to ensure that it is a success.
