HEAD OF A NEWLY FORMING DEPARTMENT IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE

Computer Science and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne recently topped the QS-World University Rankings, with no 1 in Australia and 19th in the world. Our world-class research strengths cover Autonomous and Intelligent Systems, Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics, Declarative Languages, Health Informatics, Interaction Design, IT Management and Strategy, Knowledge Discovery, Organizational Information Systems, Parallel and Distributed Computing and Software Engineering, and we have strong interactions with Australia's national ICT research centre (http://www.nicta.com.au/ <https://owa2.unimelb.edu.au/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.nicta.com.au/> ).

 

The successful candidate will have an outstanding leadership track record and will be internationally recognised in at least one area of the new department's current strengths.
