E3 Greentech is sponsoring the first annual Energy Informatics Olympics. See http://irom.e3greentech.com/profiles/blogs/1st-annual-energy-informatics

This is an opportunity for IS students to show how information can you be used to reduce energy consumption. The timing of the student competition, Sep 1 — Dec 1, fits well with most semester systems and thus for some the competition might make for a class assignment.
