5th International Conference on Complex Distributed Systems (CODS'2011)

Mannheim, Germany, 5-7 December 2011

http://siwn.org.uk/cods11/

One of the most distinguishing requirements upon Information and
Communication Technologies is today's ever-changing, highly open dynamic
environments in which large-scale ICT systems are situated to operate.
Challenges for ICT systems engineering immediately arise including,
e.g., systems scalability, systems ultra-dependability, systems
convergence against uncertainty and emergence, and so forth. In recent
years, emergence, adaptation, self-organization, self-management, etc.
have received extensive interests in both academics and industries of
software, computing and communications.

CODS'11 conference aims to provide an international forum for the
researchers and practitioners in the related subject areas to exchange
research results, experiences, as well as the visions of the future and
the scientific and practical problems that challenge the current
technology development.

Important Dates
1 July 2011 Submission of manuscripts
5 August 2011 Notification of acceptance
2 September 2011 Camera-Ready Version (CRV) due
5-7 December 2011 Conferences
Submission

CODS'2011 and its workshops only accepts manuscripts of original
contributions. A manuscript for submission to the Conference or workshop
should neither have been published nor be under consideration for
publication elsewhere. All manuscripts submitted will go through peer
reviews which are to be conducted by 3-4 members of the International
Program Committees of the Conference and workshops, based on which the
acceptance decision will be made. To avoid confusion, please do not make
duplicate submissions to the conference or workshop at the same time.

To make a submission of manuscript, please upload files in PDF format by
following the online submission link below.

CODS’11 https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cods11

A manuscript for submission to the Conference or workshop should be
prepared according to the Instructions for Authors of the Journal.
Sample Word Doc and Latex file of Camera-Ready Versions (CRV) are
available at http://fatech.org.uk/press/ita.htm At the stage of
submission, there are no particular restrictions on the length of
manuscripts (so long as it's within maximum 18 pages). However, there
will be page limits for CRVs depending on the categories to which papers
are accepted (and over-length pages may be subject to page charges).

CODS'2011 welcomes proposals for Workshops, Invited Sessions and
Tutorials on newly emerging areas. Please discuss with the Chairs.

Proceedings and Journal Publication (for CODS11 and all workshops)

All accepted papers of the Conference and Workshops will be included in
the electronic Proceedings, which will be available at the Conference
and workshops. At the same time, high-quality papers of the Conference
and Workshops will be published in the International Journal <<Systemics
and Informatics World Network (SIWN)>> (ISSN 2044-7272)
http://fatech.org.uk/press/siwn/ which will be available at the
Conference and workshops. Best quality papers of the Conferences will
also be published in the International Journal <<International
Transactions on Systems Science and Applications (ITSSA)>> (ISSN
1751-1461) http://fatech.org.uk/press/itssa/ available at the
Conference and workshops.
