ReSNES annual colloquiums promote opportunities for dynamic discussion
and debate on research into knowledge production in the 21st century. It
brings together leading researchers, educators, developers,
practitioners, and policy makers who share their research and
innovations in Education, Business, Civil society and Government.

Colloquium Registration

Registration opens: 01 October 2011

Registration Rates

Early bird:   01 October – 15 October:        R 450
Regular:     16 October – 03 November:     R 600
On-site:      03 November – 04 November: R 800

Submissions may be in the form of one or more of the following:
completed research paper, research in progress, descriptive case
studies, extended abstracts, or proposals for panel discussions or
tutorials. Papers must be submitted via the conference website
(http://www.resnes.co.za) in the required format.

Authors need to submit their manuscripts electronically via an
electronic peer review system in Rich Text Format (RTF), or Microsoft
Word (.doc) file format. Please refer to the ReSNES’2011 web site
http://www.resnes.co.za for details. All submissions will be
refereed.

Research papers must be original, unpublished elsewhere and should be
no longer than 6000 words. Include an abstract (120 word max) along with
the body of the full paper.
Research in progress submissions must be at least 2500 words in length,
be substantially near completion, and include a one-page abstract.
Extended abstracts must be at least 1000 words in length and identify
the primary research question, a preliminary literature review and
overview of the planned methodology.
Panel and tutorial proposals must include the names and affiliations of
panelists who have agreed to participate and a 1-2 page summary of the
topic, including a description of how the session will be structured.
Descriptive case studies may report specific pedagogical or curricular
strategies being employed or under development, and should be no longer
than 6000 words.
