The new officers will take over the leadership of the society in exciting times. Two important priorities are to grow and broaden the membership base, and facilitate the research and teaching activities to improve the visibility of the information systems community both nationally and internationally. The president will be a visible and active member of the information systems community and lead the society with passion, energy and commitment. The vice-president will support the president in leadership activities, and be responsible for the day-to-day affairs of the society. The treasurer will manage the society's funds and be responsible for budgeting and financial reporting.

Please send your nominations to Vijay Mookerjee at vijaym at utdallas.edu<mailto:vijaym at utdallas.edu> by September 10, 2011. The nomination should identify the position (president, vice-president, treasurer), provide a description of the candidate's achievements and eligibility for the position, and include the nominee's current vita. The committee expects to complete its task so that the next slate of officers can be elected into office by October 1, 2011.
