Dear Colleagues,

The Global, International, and Cultural Issues in IS track at AMCIS 2012 calls for proposals for mini tracks.

The track welcomes submissions that relate to all aspects of global information systems, or IS research situated in a global, international or cross-cultural context. The track is open to all methodological approaches and perspectives.

Suggested topics for potential mini-tracks include but are not limited to:

. IS Research that explicitly considers the international or global context (e.g. ERP implementations involving multiple countries)
. IS Research that explicitly considers the impacts of cultural values (e.g. impact of cultural values on systems use, adoption or development)
. Single country studies which can show implications for other locations or results different from other contexts
. Multi-country studies of information systems adoption, use, and development
. Cross-national and cross-cultural comparisons of information systems adoption, use and development
. Issues relating to the globally distributed teams (e.g. teams working on software development or product development)
. Issues relating to IT adoption at the national level (e.g. development of national information infrastructure, patterns of increase in IT infrastructure sophistication across countries)
