Dear Colleague,
I would like to invite you to participate in the Human Behavior Project as an early adopter of our Inter-Nomological Network (INN) search engine. This opportunity would be of particular interest to behavioral researchers who are interested in integrating theories and ideas from disciplines beyond their own.
The INN provides a new approach to search and theory-building that integrates research from multiple behavioral disciplines. It is a part of the Human Behavior Project<http://behavior.colorado.edu/>, which develops Natural Language Processing algorithms for behavioral construct integration. The Human Behavior Project is funded by the National Science Foundation and is based at the University of Colorado's Leeds School of Business.
The INN contains:
* 25,000 constructs
* 25,000 other variables
* 43,000 construct measurement items
* 53,000 construct citations
...from 10-20 years of 15 top journals in Information Systems, Psychology, Sociology, Education, and Nursing
The INN provides:
* Keyword search
* Semantic similarity search
* A persistent organization of variables, constructs and items in a user-created framework
We are presently looking for 5-10 early adopters who would used the system for 5-10 hours over a period of month, and attempt to integrate its use into their own literature reviews and theory development. If you are interested in becoming an early adopter, please send an email to Kai Larsen at kai.larsen at colorado.edu<mailto:kai.larsen at colorado.edu> with a sentence or two about your research interests.
Thank you for your consideration!
All the best,
Kai
