The Computer Information Systems and Quantitative Methods (CIS/QUMT) Department offers a unique opportunity for one scholar with a doctoral degree in Health Information Technology (HIT) or related Information Systems disciplines such as Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Health information Systems.  Applicants should have excellent communication skills, a collegial approach to faculty and student interactions, and a sincere appreciation of cultural diversity.  

Preference will be given to those with strong research publication, teaching, coursework, dissertation and/or professional experience in the area of health information technology or health information systems. 

Candidates would be expected to have knowledge and or skills in two or more of the following: Health information systems, EHR, Meaningful use, analytics, business intelligence, data mining, Health Decision Support Systems, data management in health systems.
