Are there any studies/reports or summary statistics on the dynamics in the
departments of information systems (MIS, CIS, informatics, etc.)
in the past five years or so?

In particular, what have been the figures on student enrollments?
Have there been mergers of these departments with some others?
Which departments have been shut down?

I'd be willing to compile all the evidence sent to me and made it
available to the IS field community.
