Job Description:
The Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Business & Economics (FBE) is recruiting for one Assistant Professor in Management Information Systems commencing in Fall 2012. Salaries, research support, teaching loads, and benefits are competitive. Candidates should have expertise in areas of MIS related to supply-chain management and logistics, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence, MIS Project Management, Entrepreneurship, and Information technology business applications. Candidates must be active researchers and have a strong record of scholarly excellence. 

The application package should include a cover letter, a detailed resume, three letters of reference, description of current and future research activities, teaching philosophy, and teaching experience with a list of courses taught. English is the language of instruction and communication in the FBE. 

The UAEU is located in the green oasis city of Al-Ain, 130 kilometers away from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The FBE has been accredited by AACSB since 2000. The FBE has one of the best standing MBA programs in the UAE (which is offered in Abu Dhabi and AlAin), as well as a DBA program. The Department of Business Administration, the largest of 4 departments in the FBE, is responsible for courses at both undergraduate and post-graduate MBA and DBA levels.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in MIS. The ability to teach undergraduate MIS courses is a must.
