Title:	Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Professor

Nature of Position:	Fayetteville State University (FSU) seeks a tenure track Assistant/ Associate professor to join our Healthcare Management faculty team in the School of Business and Economics for the Fall 2012 semester. The person hired will be expected to teach healthcare administration courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.  Expertise in one or more of the following areas is also desirable: Health Informatics, Healthcare Quality Management and Healthcare Law, Policy & Governance. Experience with AUPHA and CAHME processes is desirable.

In addition to teaching, responsibilities also  include:
•	Serving as academic advisor for undergraduate students
•	Conducting research leading to peer reviewed publications 
•	Providing service to the Program, Department, University and Community
•	Providing input toward accreditation and certification processes

Fayetteville State University, a constituent of the University of North Carolina system, offers over 65 academic degree programs. The School serves 1000+ students and offers four undergraduate and one graduate (MBA) program.

Qualifications	Preference is given to candidates with a  Ph.D. degree from an AACSB accredited school or a certified/accredited Healthcare Management Program. ABDs are encouraged to apply and healthcare industry  experience is a plus. 

Salary	Salaries are in line with comparable programs
