The Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University of
Newfoundland is seeking applications for a 12-month or 18-month
postdoctoral fellow position in Information Systems. The successful
applicant will work on data integration problems under the supervision
of Dr. Joerg Evermann. Specifically, the project aims to identify and
apply cognitive principles and processes to data integration problems.
The starting date for the position is May 1st, 2012 or soon after. The
salary is competitive. The position is not renewable.

The successful candidate should have:
* Recently completed PhD in Information Systems, Computer Science,
Cognitive Science or related area. A combination of experience in
cognitive psychology and computer science or information systems is
highly desirable.
* Experience in ontology alignment or schema matching is highly desirable
* Experience with empirical (especially experimental or other
observational) research methods is highly desirable
* Ability to independently explore a research area and identify avenues
of inquiry, and be self-motivated.
* Commitment to publishing in high-quality journals and conferences
* Excellent English verbal and writing skills
