It is our pleasure to announce that Department of Business Administration, Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Technology & Management (SSITM), Bhilai is organizing Transilience 2012 - an International Conference on Technology Enabled Organizational Transformation on 22nd & 23rd of June 2012. This conference will seek to bring together business transformation and technology specialists to discuss the existing challenges and solutions for implementing technology-based business transformation. Themes:
Business transformation is a holistic move that seeks to align an organization's technology, process and people initiatives, so that they are in accord with the business vision and strategic goals. Successful business transformation and the execution of the change management process require an enterprise-wide view which combines strategy, business architecture, information systems and technology domains. In this era of globalization, businesses can gain competitive advantage by using technology. Various businesses around the globe has benefitted through the use of technology, particularly Internet. For example, a number of businesses are using social media for advertising, customer service, and troubleshooting. However, its role is new to a number of business firms in India, and particularly in Chhattisgarh. This conference aims to bring various experts on a common platform for sharing their views on how businesses can use technology for enabling their business processes and gain competitive advantage over their competitors.

Paper Submission:

Transilience 2012 program committee invites submission across 5 tracks as per its theme of "Technology Enabled Organizational Transformation." Following are the type of submissions:

*        Completed Research papers (Including Industry Case studies/Projects) (Submitted to any of the five tracks)

*        Research-in-prograss papers (Submitted to any of the five tracks)

*        Doctoral Dissertation (Submitted to the Doctoral Dissertation track only)

All submissions are to be made via Transilience 2012's online submission system. The URL of the site ishttps://cmt.research.microsoft.com/TEOT2012/. Alternatively click here<https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/TEOT2012/> to submit your papers online. Authors need to create their account in the online submission site after which they will be able to submit their manuscripts. All manuscripts must be submitted before the deadline (15th March, 2012). While submitting online, please select the most appropriate track for your manuscript as the primary subject area. If you feel that your manuscript is suited to other track areas also, please select it in the secondary subject area, or else, select none.

Review Process:

Completed Research Papers, and Research-in-Progress Papers will be prescreened for conformity with submission guidelines and for overall appropriateness for the conference. Papers that pass the initial screening processes will be double-blind reviewed. Doctoral Dissertations will not be blind reviewed.



Publication of Proceedings:

The papers selected to be presented in the conference will be published as a book with ISBN No.
