I am delighted to introduce and welcome you to the first International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ICIE-2013) being held at The Hashemite University in cooperation with The Arab Administrative Development Organization, Amman, Jordan on 4-5 March 2013.

 

This is a FIRST CALL for papers, which will be open until 13th August 2012.

 

 

This conference aims to explore policies, measures and mechanisms for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in various areas. Economic and organizational value creation is currently strongly embodied and embedded in innovation and entrepreneurship strategies and capabilities. Discovering and learning about those approaches can reflect the companies and nations adaptive capacity, both internally and externally. Thus, we invite researchers, practitioners and academics to present their research and to share their own experiences in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.

The advisory group for the conference invites submissions of both academic and practitioner papers on a wide range of topics and a wide range of scholarly approaches including theoretical and empirical papers employing qualitative, quantitative and critical methods.

 

 

Academic research, case studies and work-in-progress/posters are welcomed approaches. PhD Research, proposals for roundtable discussions or knowledge cafés, non-academic contributions and product demonstrations based on the main themes are also invited. Please feel free to circulate this message to any colleagues or contacts you think may be interested.

 

 

Papers presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings subject to author registration and payment. Selected papers will also be considered for a special issue of the International Journal of Innovation and Regional Development <http://www.inderscience.com/browse/index.php?journalID=234> , journals published by Inderscience. The Proceedings have an ISSN, ISBN and will be indexed in the Thompson Web of Science.
