An post-doctoral opportunity (fixed term, 2 year) is available for an innovative researcher in the field of Information Systems. The applicant will conduct research in the CRC Smart Services' (http://www.smartservicescrc.com.au/) Business Service Management related to the corporate use of social media.

The Business Service Management project is driven by anew paradigm for service management: customer-centric service provision. At the core of this paradigmatic shift is the idea of participating in customers' processes and seamlessly providing services into these private processes rather than expecting customers to take part in complex corporate processes. Social media, life event management systems and the design and execution of private processes are essential solutions of interest in this context.

The applicant will be a member of the Information Systems School at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia. The School aims to be the nationally leading and an internationally competitive research entity in the area of applied Information Systems. QUT's Information Systems School was the only IS research group that was ranked with a perfect '5-out-of-5' score in the 2010 Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) assessment
