Dear Colleagues,

May 6th, the early registration deadline for the 50th anniversary conference of Computers and People Research, is fast approaching! Register early to leverage discounted registration rates. The conference program is now available at http://www.sigmis.org/SIGCPR2012/SIGMIS%20CPR%20Conference%20Program%202012.pdf.

CPR will be held at Milwaukee, WI - during May 31-June 2, 2012. We encourage you and your colleagues/doctoral students engaged in related research to participate in this exciting event.

Highlights of the Conference:

1. An exciting and engaging program that brings together practice and academe. Highlights of the program include:
-- A CIO panel featuring CIOs of Aurora Healthcare, Mutual, Manpower Group, Northwestern, and Johnson Controls - "How to groom IT Leadership as Change Agents" followed by reception.
-- A practitioner panel - "Building Alliances between Practitioners and Academe" designed to spur an annual cycle of research projects. Panel is moderated by Chris Murphy, Senior Editor of Information Week.
-- High quality and engaging interactions with researchers involved in computers and people research.
-- Four forward-thinking doctoral student presentations at the doctoral consortium.

2. Friday night networking dinner at the Harley-Davidson Museum - featuring 50 years of reflection on the field by Ephraim McLean, Regents' Professor, Georgia State University.

3. A wonderful summer location - a Great Place on a Great Lake, Milwaukee. With many summer events, proximity to Chicago, Madison, and Door County, Milwaukee offers much to do during the months of May - August.

Registration, hotel, and program details can be found on the conference Website: http://www.sigmis.org/SIGCPR2012/cpr2012.html

We look forward to your participation at this memorable event.
