Dear Colleagues,

It is a pleasure to announce you the CD-ARES IFIP CROSS-DOMAIN 
CONFERENCE which will be held in Prague from, Czech Republic.

CD-ARES will focus on all aspects of Information Systems Applications.

CD-ARES is a joint effort of

- IFIP WG 8.4 (E-Business: Multi-disciplinary research and practice)
- IFIP WG 8.4 (Enterprise Information Systems)
- IFIP TC 5 (Information Technology Applications)

Special consideration on aspects of Availability, Reliability and 
Security in Business, Enterprise and Health Information Systems are very 
much welcome.

The deadline for submissions: May 21st, 2012

International Cross Domain Conference and Workshop (CD-ARES)
supported by IFIP TC 8 (WG 8.4, WG 8.9) and TC 5
To be held in conjunction with the International Conference on 
Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES 2012 – 
http://www.ares-conference.eu).

August 20th - 24th, 2012
University of Economics, Prague
Prague, Czech Republic



Today's highly interconnected and interdependent information systems are 
used in many different ways in order to perform and improve business 
operations. Thus, a multidisciplinary view on information systems is of 
great importance to meet future research challenges. This IFIP supported 
conference therefore is focused on multidisciplinary aspects across the 
breadth of Business and Enterprise Information Systems.

The aim of this conference is to foster a forum for researchers and 
practitioners for discussing and resenting recent research ideas and 
results across the multiple research domains. The conference will be 
held in conjunction with the ARES conference. Therefore authors of 
papers with security and dependability focus are also encouraged to 
contribute to this workshop.

As a multidisciplinary platform this conference will also provide the 
possibility of discussing addional interactions between elements that 
extend beyond technology such as organisational issues to include 
environmental factors (e.g. location based aspects, national and 
international payment mechanisms, ...)

- Camera Ready Copies : June 11th, 2012
- Conference : August 20th - 24th, 2012

Submission Guidelines
========================
Authors are invited to electronically submit original research 
contributions or experience reports in English.

The submitted manuscript should closely reflect the final paper as it 
will appear in the Proceedings. The submitted manuscript must be 
submitted in pdf in LNCS format 
(http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html)

The length of submitted manuscripts should not exceed 15 pages.

Papers should be submitted under: 
https://confdriver.ifs.tuwien.ac.at/cd-ares2012/

Submitted papers will be carefully evaluated based on originality, 
significance, technical soundness, and clarity of exposition.


As the CD-ARES conference is supported by IFIP, authors must sign the 
IFIP Springer Copyright Form.
