Deadline for the special issue was extended because of a number of requests.

Papers for the Special Issue should be submitted by August 1, 2012, 
however, early submissions are encouraged.

Papers submitted for this special issue can address any of a broad range 
of topics in knowledge discovery, data mining and business 
intelligence.Generally, papers will address applications and 
implementations in business and industrial settings.Literature reviews 
and surveys also are solicited.
