Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a number of vacant Associate Professorships in IT management at the Department of IT management.

The Department of IT Management conducts research within the following areas related to IT and Information Systems:
Design, Implementation, Use and exploitation and Information Management

The faculty of the department primarily teaches within the following degree programs: Bachelor in Business Administration and Information Systems, Bachelor in Information Management, MSc in Business Administration and Information Systems and the MSc in IT (eBusiness).

Examples of the research themes that the Associate Professorship might cover:
Social Media Management, IT and Finance Management, IT in Mergers and Acquisitions Management or Internet of Things
The associate professor is expected to contribute to the development and application of the research of the department's research areas and to maintain and strengthen CBS's international research position.
Particular emphasis is assigned to the applicant´s ability to engage in theme based inter disciplinary research in teams.
The associate professorship is a fully tenured position. Applicants without appropriate teaching experience will be appointed on a probationary period of up to 1½ years.

To fulfill the research requirements of the position, the applicant(s) chosen is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the teaching and research activities of the Department.
