The Information and Process Management (IPM) department at Bentley
University invites applications to fill two tenure track faculty positions
in Information and Process Management at the Assistant or Associate level,
to start in the Fall 2013.



Located in Waltham, Massachusetts, just minutes from Boston, Bentley

The IPM department plays an important role in supporting the university
mission of blending business, technology and the liberal arts. The
department offers courses in the business core at both graduate and
undergraduate levels, as well as a variety of courses for an undergraduate
major (Information Systems Audit and Control) and minor (IPM), MBA and MS
programs, and the PhD in Business. Courses include business process
management, strategic information management, information security,
information privacy, enterprise systems configuration, business
intelligence, and others. The department is a leading proponent of
Bentley's participation in the SAP University Alliance program. The
department also plays a prominent role in the college's business PhD
program (with about half of the graduating class of 2013 being supervised
by IPM faculty).



Qualifications:  We seek individuals who represent different backgrounds,
interests and talents. A qualified candidate will have a doctoral degree or
will complete the degree by September 1, 2013, as well as demonstrate a
strong commitment to excellence in both scholarly research and teaching.
Experience in conducting trans-disciplinary research is of particular
interest, as is a willingness to contribute to curriculum development and
implementation. Ability to teach in a variety of formats, including day,
evening, weekend and online courses, is expected. A qualified candidate
should also have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, an
ability to thrive in a cross-cultural environment, and be able to interact
effectively with educators, business professionals, administrators, and
students.
