[AISWorld] Postdoctoral positions and PhD studentships available at AUEB

The ISTLab/Wireless Research Center (ISTLab/WRC) of the Athens University of
Economics and Business announces the availability of two postdoctoral
positions and four PhD studentships in the area of Social Learning in Online
Social Networks. More specifically, the positions focus on the following
thematic areas:

1.        Data Mining Techniques for Online Social Networks, eg, twitter,
facebook.

2.        Modeling User Behavior in Online Social Networks through
Simulation or Game Theory.

3.        Sentiment Analysis in Online Social Networks.

4.        Social Learning and herding in Online Social Networks and the
Internet.

5.        Online Social Networks and Stock Market Prediction Algorithms.

 

The postdoctoral positions are open until filled. Applicants should submit a
detailed curriculum vitae, together with copies of two recent publications,
to Professor George Giaglis (giaglis at aueb.gr).

 

The PhD studentships are available to candidates holding a master's degree
(MSc, MBA). Applicants should consult with the supervisor (Professor George
Giaglis, giaglis at aueb.gr) in time to be ready to submit a formal application
by the closing date of August 27, 2012.
