[AISWorld] The passing of Milt Jenkins

Milt Jenkins, a dear friend and colleague passed away last Thursday, 
August 16. Over the last twenty years I had the privilege of working  
with him at University of Baltimore, from where he retired as Professor 
Emeritus of MIS.  Of course he had outstanding publications on CASE, 
Multimedia, Prototyping, Electronic Commerce, etc, but he was above all 
a brilliant thinker, a kind and passionate soul, and a good and 
dedicated friend to us and the MIS field.

At his request there will not be a public service. Many of you may 
recall Milt's love of the ocean; the family will hold a small private 
ceremony where they will scatter his ashes over the Chesapeake Bay, 
Maryland.

Although there will not be a service, Danni Fowler at dfowler at ubalt.edu 
is willing to pass along any messages of condolence to Milt's wife 
Sarece and family.
