Hello Khalid,

I hope this finds you and your family doing well.

I have followed developments with IBIMA with great interest.  I have been
drawn into heavier involvement with the Decision Sciences Institute since I
chose not to continue as department chair 3 years ago. Unfortunately, the
dates of their Meetings conflict with the Fall IBIMA Conferences. Also, the
spring dates present a problem. 

We are working harder than ever at Hofstra. We all are teaching overloads
since we are heavily understaffed and the University administration is
unwilling to give us the resources to add new faculty. 

On a personal note, I was married two years ago and now find myself with
many more family duties. 

I have been delinquent in not staying in touch with you. Somehow it seems
that there never is time enough to do the things I really should do. I must
be better about this. Because of this I am somewhat reluctant to ask a favor
of you. Regardless, I know that you will consider it, because that is who
you are. As you can see below, I am the Program Chair for the 2013 Northeast
Decision Sciences Institute Meeting which will be held in April at the
Brooklyn Bridge Marriott, just across the bridge from Manhattan. Can you
help me in promoting the meeting by distributing the Call for Papers to any
membership list, etc.  that you may have available. This would be a great
help. I know yours is a truly international organization so I don't expect
many people to submit; but even if only one or two did, that would be great.
I have attached the Call.
