***Apologies for multiple postings***
The 22nd Annual Workshop on Information Technologies and Systems (WITS) will be held in Orlando, Florida, on December 15-16, 2012, just prior to the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS). The purpose of the workshop is to provide a forum for discussion and interaction among scholars with research interests in the cutting edge issues of information technologies and systems. The theme of the conference is "Digital Innovation for Sustainability."
WITS regularly arranges an explicit prototype/demo/instructional technology poster/demonstration session. The session provides authors a chance to showcase their research prototypes or present early stage of a research. It's an interactive session that allows lot of one to one feedback from attendees. Additionally, WITS will accept instructional technology submissions that emphasize innovative use of IT in the classroom as well as innovations in teaching IS/IT topics.
One page abstract of research prototypes, and instructional technology submissions should be sent directly to the prototype demo chair, Kaushik Dutta (duttak at nus.edu.sg). Prototype/demo/instructional technology submissions should include links to any associated software or demo.
The deadline for prototype/demo/instructional technology submission is 10th October, 2012. The acceptance notification will conveyed by 24th October 2012.
We will look forward to your submission and active participation in this session.
Sincerely,
Kaushik
