Tenure-Track Position

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Division of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for a tenure-stream professorial appointment. Applicants must have a record of research commensurate with the rank and a demonstrated successful experience in teaching. Senior level candidates should have accomplished excellence in research in MIS and be able to provide academic leadership. Entry-level candidates should demonstrate an interest in and potential to conduct high-quality research in MIS and be very close to completing or have completed a Ph.D. in information systems or a closely related field. The successful candidate will be appointed to the rank appropriate to their qualification and experience.

Duties include developing and maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession, teaching in the Undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. programs, as well as contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives of the Management Information Systems Division and the Sauder School of Business. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.
