Faculty Position Announcement

Assistant Professor, Global Business Analytics

The Information Systems and Decision Sciences (ISDS) department at the University of South Florida (USF) is searching for an outstanding candidate to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates must at minimum have a Ph.D. degree with research/teaching interest in business analytics and one or more additional areas such as operations/supply chain management, management information systems or a related discipline from an accredited university. A track record or a willingness to undertake activities globally is also required. ABDs completing their doctorate degree by August 5th, 2013, will also be considered.

Preference will be given to candidates possessing a track record of publishing in leading journals in some of the above mentioned areas, consistent with experience.  Preference will be given to candidates who have the ability to teach operations/supply chain management courses, have a track record or a willingness to undertake activities in or related to China/Asia, and are effective teachers.

The ISDS department includes faculty members who engage in fundamental information systems and analytics research, collaborate in interdisciplinary research programs, and publish in the leading journals in information systems and analytics. The department offers graduate programs such as Ph.D., MS in MIS, and MBA with MIS concentration, and a highly competitive undergraduate program.
