Call for Papers for Special Issue of JITCAR
GLOBAL SOURCING OF SERVICES: BRIDGING THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC DIVIDE

The premise of this Special Issue is:

We are in the midst of a global outsourcing revolution. The current global economic crisis has once again confirmed that the world′s economy is inescapably and irreversibly integrated. Global sourcing of products and services has become an accepted business strategy of both Multi-National Corporations (MNCs) and Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs).  Global Sourcing of Services and Products in the context of global economic crisis can be our savior.  The theme of this special issue is how global sourcing can help in bridging the worldwide economic divide and slowly usher the human race into peaceful global cooperation and collaboration.

Your paper can focus on any IT function or any IT Enabled Service (ITES) -- Health Care Outsourcing and Medical Tourism, Global Outsourcing Curriculum,  In-Sourcing (Captive Offshore Centre), Global Sourcing of Services for SME Vendors and SME Clients, Global Sourcing of Financial Services, Managing Global Sourcing Projects, Vendor-Client Relationship Management, Outsourcing of Human Resources etc.  While submitting a paper to the Special Issues Editor – Dr. 
Shailendra Palvia spalvia at liu.edu, please note the following:

a) The deadline for submission of full paper is December 1, 2012. The submission should not exceed 25 pages double spaced excluding references and appendices.
b) Submitted papers must utilize case/application research methodology.
c) Papers should be submitted as soft copies, using MS-Word.
d) Blind review comments/recommendation will be provided by January 15, 2013.  
e) Accepted papers must be revised and submitted by February 28, 2013.
