[AISWorld] Senior lectureship in Information Systems

Gothenburg University invites applications for one vacant Senior lectureship in Information Systems (Informatics) with a specialization in IT Management at the Department of Applied Information Technology.

The department offers education and carries out research within the areas Informatics, Interaction Design, Learning, Communication, Cognitive science and Visualization in close collaboration with industry and the public sector. Research in Informatics concerns the design, management, organization and usage of information technology at the individual, organizational and societal level, and may include the development of innovative usage of IT in different contexts, as well as the design of innovative applications.  The department is located at Campus Lindholmen and is part of both the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.

A major part of the full-time tenured appointment is education and research in IT Management, where the holder of the position will play an important mediating role as a facilitator for academic and industrial collaboration. For education, the holder will in particular be connected to the master level program and elective courses in IT Management, but also within the bachelor program in Systems Development. The successful candidate’s research must cover several of the following research themes: Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, Change Management and IT infrastructure.
