The Information Technology Management (ITM) Department in the School of 
Business at the University at Albany, SUNY, invites applications for a 
tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level through 
the Faculty Diversity Program. The University at Albany is an equal

The School of Business at the University at Albany is accredited by 
AACSB and enrolls about 1000 undergraduate and 500 graduate students. 
The ITM Department offers a concentration in ITM in both the Bachelor's 
and MBA programs, which are highly rated by top management consulting 
firms and Fortune 100 companies. The School of Business is ranked by 
/The Princeton Review/ in the *Top 10 for Best Places for Women to Earn 
their MBA. *The ITM Department also participates in an Executive MBA 
program and the University's inter-disciplinary PhD program in 
Information Science.

In keeping with the University's research mission, the ITM faculty has a 
strong national reputation in technology-related business disciplines. 
ITM faculty have a solid record of publications, grant funding and 
service on Editorial Boards. /The ITM Department has been ranked 59^th 
in the world based on the number of publications in the AIS Senior 
Scholars' Basket of journals./

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in the IS field. Prospective candidates are 
expected to carry out substantive research to enhance the research 
profile of the Department, and contribute to curriculum development and 
teaching in the fast-changing IS field.
