[AISWorld] Visiting Assistant Professor in IS at Washington State University, Pullman Campus

The Department of Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship in the College of Business at Washington State University seeks applicants for the position of a one-year (potentially extendable to more years) Visiting Assistant Professor with a focus in Information Systems starting August 2013. Qualified short-listed applicants will be interviewed at the upcoming ICIS in Orlando.

Interested candidates should already have a Ph.D. or should be near completion of their Ph.D. program. The Visiting Assistant Professor will be expected to teach MIS courses at the undergraduate level (and also possibly at the Masters level). The individual will also be expected to engage in scholarly research on a variety of different IS-related issues, and collaborate with the departmental faculty.

The IS program within the department is known/ranked nationally/internationally for its research productivity. It offers 1) complete Undergraduate program both in face-to-face and online environments, 2) courses at the Masters level, and 3) a Ph.D. program. The College of Business (CB) within Washington State University (WSU) is accredited at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The College spans the four campuses of WSU with the largest campus in Pullman and urban campuses located in Spokane, Vancouver, and the Tri-Cities area. The CB conducts scholarly and applied research, and offers degree programs in a variety of business disciplines, and in hospitality business management, supplementing these offerings through innovative online learning.
