Job Description
Administer the degree and certificate programs offered by the Department of Business and Information Technology and to recruit regional, national and international students.
Develop and cultivate alumni and corporate relations for recruiting, internships and placement in conjunction with the Development Office.
Administer and conduct regional, national and international recruitment efforts for graduate level programs in the Department of Business and Information Technology.
Develop and administer a program budget, annual program performance reports, and special reports and presentations, including reports to the Association of Academic Colleges and Schools of Business (AACSB); compile and tabulate data, reports and information for department and accreditation agency.
Research, evaluate and develop new programs and services designed to enhance department graduate programs.
Coordinate the course schedules for department graduate programs.
Serve as a liaison and resource for internal and external constituents on behalf of the departmental graduate programs.
Interview, train and evaluate the performance of support staff.
Advise students on emphasis areas and courses; execute, interpret and communicate academic policies and procedures.
Oversee the admissions processing of department graduate students and admit students meeting established criteria; coordinate admissions committee decisions for extraordinary admission cases, probation, etc.
Participate as an active member of the department's strategic planning and policy development committee.
Develop and participate with Career Opportunities Center in placement activities for departmental graduate students, including career fairs and other events.
Perform other duties related to the goals and objectives of the department.

Minimum Qualification
Master's degree from an AACSB or ABET accredited program is required.
Ability to work effectively in a technological research university and build collaborative
relationships with the various campus departments is necessary.
Cross cultural communications skills and intercultural awareness and understanding are required.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Experience working in an academic institution is preferred.
